This has to have been the biggest waste of $15 in my life, honestly. I'll go through each map and why it sucks.

Carnival - There's so many fucking colors you can't see a person if they're right in front of you and not moving. Camp = win. Not to mention it's so fucking huge the only way to get kills is by camping. This map blows.

Fuel - Again, so hueg you have no choice but to camp. The second floors are also gay... I mean I can't count the number of times I've been n00b tubed.

Trailer Park - Self-fucking-explanatory. IW just had to recreate their favorite pass-time (camping) and homes.

Vacant - Not as bad as the new maps but tube and RPG-prone. For that, it's stupid.

Strike - About the only decent map from the package, though it still has flaws. Also, the one-entrance-only-second-floor-room is stupid, too. Did I mention I hate second floors?

Grr. Anyways, it's as always a ball to go on an explosive rampage. I'd take MP1 any day though. Thumbs down for publishing this shit, Activision.

I actually prefer this then the first map pack.

I love carnival, I always seem to do pretty well. I wouldn't say I camp, but perhaps more so then other maps. Trailer park is awesome, I actually always rape on it, it's so easy to kill people on it, it's a good size and not too open so you don't get raped if you set foot outside, except near than centre part with that big circular thing. Not the biggest fan of fuel though. Strike and vacant are both just as good as they were in cod4.

Must be different on 360, then. I have both MPs for both consoles yet I never touch my 360.. oh well.

I personally love these new maps. Not so much fuel. I totally agree about that one. As for carnival, strike, vacant, and trailer park. I own on all of these. I play hardcore team deathmatch. I use marathon pro, stopping power pro, and ninja pro in combination with an ACR with an undermount shotgun. People hate me. You can almost snipe with this setup. And no I don't have anything on my tv to help aim. I'm just used to this weapon setup. What really gets my goat are the people that use mods. Makes me feel good that they need them to beat me but I hate having to fight so hard sometimes for a good kdr by the end of a match.

I personally dislike Hardcore, and as a result don't play it too much.. do you play on PC or what? I guess it really comes down to personal preference but I think IW did a horrible job by promoting so much camping -.-

You just have to realise that big companies only care about money. For IW to make money, they need to sell lots of copies. In order to sell lots of copies, people are gonna want to play the game. The majority of people play to win, or rather play to get kills and not be killed. Camping allows for this. The easier it is to camp, the more people will play. IW don't give a rat's ass about the true players who want to play fairly, they only care about the large army of campers as it is those who make them the most money.

I think you completely missed the point. I realize they're trying to make money, but if they keep producing shit, overpriced DLC and not fixing bugs and issues which are very clear and evident, people aren't going to buy the next releases and so on. Maps can still allow for campers but be good maps - however I feel this map pack was a poor release on their part from pretty much all perspectives other than camper's.

I hate them as well.

Although I've found a good camp spot in Carnival.

Not playing hardcore is understandable. Its not for everyone. I too hate campers, but you got to agree that you WILL have campers in all competitive FPS games. Even if the maps are not camper friendly. I play on the 360. The playstation 3 is a great system, but I prefer the user friendlyness of the 360. Black Ops looks pretty promising to not promote campers. At least on the videos I have seen. I guess we shall see. What game mode do you play on MW2?
