How to Call a Good Airstrike
First things first - I won't claim to be an expert as I've had many fail bombings myself. I will, however, share some of my tips which will likely increase your chances of whooping ass with anything from a 3-pass Precision Airstrike to a 1-pass Stealth Bomber.
Step One: Wait for a UAV. This is common sense. I typically advise people to set up their airstrike killstreaks WITH the UAV enabled, so you can just die and get 3 kills and call in a proper airstike. If no one on your team seems to call in a UAV, proceed to step 2. Otherwise, skip it.
Step Two: View your map and see where your players [/i]aren't[/i]. This is a big indicator as to where enemies not only potentially are, but where they're spawning. If your players are surrounding a specific area but also have the rest of the map covered, look to dropping the strike over that area.
Step Three: Anticipate where the enemies will move. If there's any caves around, most with common sense will duck for cover. Use this to your advantage - call it so they run into the airstrike. Otherwise, drop it over common walkways or chokepoints. Also, set the direction to go against where they're running ie. if you're anticipating them to move left-to-right, drop it right-to-left as to avoid missing anyone.
Step Four: Angles. Whenever you're calling an aitrsike (besides Harriers as you have no control over the angle), angle it so it covers the most ground. Don't send it to take just the top right corner of Rust as you'll only end up dropping like 3 bombs on the playing field. This can be the difference between no kills and a multi-kill if your initial positioning was off.
If All Else Fails... just fucking drop that shit straight down the middle and get the fuck out of the way.
Questions, comments, and suggestions are welcomed! Enjoy!

*also works for Napalm strikes
Keep in mind that with Napalm, however, the fire can still kill people, so setting it in their path is a good choice (for the n00bs who try and run through it o.o).

I'm terrible at calling in air strikes I always seem to place it in the only spot where there are no enemies. I hope these tips will help otherwise I'm suing!

Nice guide, I usually wait for a UAV or Blackbird to call in my Napalm Strikes UNLESS I know where there all hiding (like if were spawn killing them)

RE: How to Call a Good Airstrike
I always seem to manage to kill myself with my own air support. I sweat more often then not my napalm strikes kill me more often then enemies. That's why I switched to killstreaks which cannot harm myself
