Sure it sucks when we get owned by a camper, we all go like "FUCK YOU CAMPER". But can we really censor them? I think camping is a good technique overall in any game, it's just annoying, which is why it's so hated.

Don't camp in the same fucking spot though. That's gay. If you don't move, they'll just come for you anyway (kill cams). You should be able to switch places undetectable and keep doing your thing. You won't be hated this way.

In some game modes, I think it's acceptable (such as Search & Destroy, HQ, Demolition, etc.) when you actually HAVE a reason to do so. But TDM, FFA, etc... there's just no reason. Spawn killing/camping is also on my hate list. Takes no skill to abuse the system with Scavenger and such.

All in all, it has it's place but certainly not everywhere.

IMO, there are two types of campers..

1) Arear Patrollers - Guys who take control of a building or corner of the map and run from one access point to another, looking to pick people off as they approach.

2) Corner Campers - Dudes who sit in the corner of a building with one entrance and have their guns pointed at the door for 10 minutes, picking people off as they come through.

Number 1 is a good way of playing - number 2 sucks big fat donkey balls
