Hello members of ForumWarfare!

I would like to welcome you to our very first competition hosted here at ForumWarfare, where you have the chance to win $10. The competition is a very simple one - we have added an online shop to the forums where you can purchase many Modern Warfare 2 items, including all guns and equipment (digital copies of course ). The link can be found on any ForumWarfare page in the navbar at the top by clicking "FW Store". In the store we have added 2 golden .44 Magnums, in the 'Contest Items' category. To win the competition all you have to do is be the first purchase one of these Magnums. That's it.

About the Store
To purchase items from the store, you use your XP (Xperience Points) which are earned through your participation in this community. Here is a list of how to get points:

New Post
Amount of points received on new post - 10 points

New Thread
Amount of points received on new thread - 25 points

New Poll
Amount of points received on new poll - 5 points

Per Poll Vote
Amount of points received by the user who votes - 1 point

Per Reply
Amount of points received by the author of the thread, when someone replies to it - 1 point

Per PM Sent
Amount of points received every time a user sends a private message - 1 point

Per Rate
Amount of points received every time a user rates a thread - 0.1 points

Per Referral
Amount of points received every time a user is referred. (the referred user is who receives the points) - 25 points

The number of points a user has can be seen in the postbit to the left of any post next to their emblem. Points can only be earned in COD related sections of the forum; ie - points are not earned if posting in the 'Forum Warfare Headquarters' and 'The Trench' sections.

Also, to make it fair, all users points have been reset to 250. Each .44 Magnum costs 1000 XP**, roughly 100 posts, and 75~ from 250XP. Upon winning, please PM either me or Scoutie44.

Competition Terms and conditions
1. ANY attempts of cheating or gaining points dishonestly will result in either temporary or permanent removal from the forums, or a deduction in points depending on the severity of the offence.
2. To receive $10 in monetary value requires you to have a paypal account. If not, we will discuss an alternative prize.
3. Points are not earned if posting in the 'Forum Warfare Headquarters' and 'The Trench' sections.
